    JOB SUMMARY

    The Human Resources (HR) Assistant performs administrative duties for the HR department. This position supports HR initiatives including data entry, HR system maintenance, and supporting payroll, benefits, and onboarding activities.

    The HR position alone will be Part Time, but if willing to also assist with Accounts Payable functions, has the ability to be Full Time. Please indicate your preference in the prescreen questions within the application process.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Utilizes Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to manage the onboarding and termination processes, key employee data changes, and maintain employee files.

    Completes 3rd party requests including wage verifications, employment verifications, etc.

    Assists with processing bi-weekly, multi-state payroll.

    Manages the I-9 and E-Verify process.

    Provides property support in the areas of HR policy, payroll issues, benefit questions, etc.

    Assists with employee benefits management, ensuring timely and accurate employee enrollment.

    Completes day-to-day operations such as, distributing mail and answering incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.

    Assists with departmental projects including open enrollment, etc.

    Monitors and maintains office supplies by routinely performing inventory and ordering necessary supplies though outside vendors.

    Assists with planning and coordination of company events.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field OR equivalent professional work experience

    Basic Microsoft Office experience

    Proficient in typing

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
