To help us achieve that mission, we are looking for an experienced QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN – ASPHALT/AGGREGATE:
POSITION SUMMARY:
A QC Tech at Brannan performs routine duties to complex field observations for the purpose of verifying Asphalt and Aggregate materials to the construction plans and specifications. This is done by the testing and inspection of road construction materials, including but not limited to: Hot Mix Asphalt, Aggregates and Field Density.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Post sampling; QC Techs will analyze test data and take corrective action to prevent any non-conforming products. Then you’ll document the test results and maintain all testing equipment.
QC Techs are responsible for following proper procedures, maintaining accurate computations and reporting of all findings throughout the day. Techs are also responsible for reviewing KPI’s and quality control reports.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the team in a way that ensures all behavior is in compliance with applicable company, state and federal safety regulations. Identifies and removes all potential job hazards.
Follows required Brannan reporting procedures.
Leads team members to ensure that Standard Operation Procedures are consistently utilized.
Maintains reliable transportation and shows up at the scheduled time and place.
