    OUR TEAM

    Brave Care is a group of pediatric primary and urgent care clinics in Portland, OR. Our goal is to provide children, teenagers, young adults, and families with a comfortable and compassionate environment for medical care. We're open 7 days a week, 10am to 10pm, and take care of everything from flu shots to wellness visits to broken bones. Our team includes a variety of pediatric specialists, engineers, product managers, and marketers all aimed at creating a better experience for patients and families.     THE ROLE:

    The Administrative Assistant for Brave Care, reporting to the Executive team, will support the CEO, CMO, COO, and the CTO. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
    • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
    • Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
    • Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
    • Manage VIDA office, maintain office supplies, snacks, and coordinate with VIDA staff for operational needs. 
    • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
    • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
    • Assist with expansion plans, coordinating between executive team, clinic team, and builders.
    • Performs other general clerical and secretarial duties as requested, which may include recordkeeping, managing petty cash, maintaining office supplies and coordinating equipment maintenance, and handling packages and correspondence.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Detail-oriented and professional.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
    • Ability to work independently.
