    Therapist Job Description

    The primary purpose of the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position is to provide outstanding clinical care to kids, adolescents, and adults at Brave in our Columbia, MO office and to future satellite locations, including telehealth. We believe in collaborative, holistic care wherein the client has the time to review all concerns with their therapists. As such, when a patient/client needs additional services such as med management, the therapist will refer them to clinicians at Brave and/or assist with connecting with appropriate referrals in the community. The therapist will collaborate with our Brave staff.

    Job Type : Full-Time

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related degree
    • Active, unrestricted license (LPC) in the State of Missouri (must be fully licensed)
    • Have or be willing to obtain advanced training in at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., trauma, anxiety, children and teens, grief, EMDR, etc.).

    Schedule & Hours:

    We will help you to determine a schedule that works with your work-life balance needs. Productivity expectation of 30 billable hours per week. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 10 PM with a minimum of 15 hours of those held during “peak hours” (defined as Monday through Friday between 4 pm to 9 pm or Weekends). Periodically, employees may be asked to flex their work hours to evenings or weekends to accommodate special events.

    Location: The primary office location will be at our office in Columbia, MO. Telehealth and virtual meetings will be held as needed. Employees will be expected to be on-site whether providing in-person or virtual care.
