Job Title: Sr. Civil Engineer
Reports to: General Manager
About the Client: Our client is a consulting civil engineering firm that offers a full range of civil engineering and land planning services from preliminary design through construction.
They take pride in providing clients with the highest level of customer service as their goal is to establish long term working relationships by providing timely and efficient project turnaround through quality engineering designs. Due to their growth in the local Napa and Sonoma counties, they are adding this Senior level position to the team.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Principal(s), the Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager will actively participate in the supervision of the design and technical activities required primarily for various types of residential subdivisions affordable housing projects, individual single family homes, commercial and industrial developments, vineyards, winery, reservoirs, septic and public works projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and participate in the design and preparation of engineering plans
Supervise and participate in the prepare project technical reports and specifications
Review project design criteria
Gather data and design information needed for project design and management
Supervise, review and participate in the preparation of design calculations
Coordination with clients and public agencies
Proposal preparation, budget tracking, invoice review
Plan and implement projects
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) Civil Engineering or bachelor’s Degree (B.S) of an equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and
Civil engineering private development design experience totaling 5(+) years.
Able to utilize project management software
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D software required.
Microsoft Office
