    Position Title: Account Manager

    Reports To: COO

    Accountabilities

    BraveView was hired by a family-owned landscape operation located in the Atlanta area servicing the Southeast.

    They have an immediate need for a professional “Account Manager” based in the Birmingham market to cover parts of TN, AL, MS, FL Panhandle, and parts of West Georgia. 

    The Account Manager is the primary customer and vendor contact for a portfolio of Class A bank branches within the defined territory. This position works with approved subcontractors to provide landscape services throughout the portfolio of properties.

    This position requires an experienced Account Manager to direct the activities of their Vendors and administrative staff in all areas of job costing and selling enhancements.

    Essential Responsibilities

    1\. Develop strong positive relationships with customer base based upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust, and ability to meet customer's needs. Develop win-win opportunities for the customer and the Company.

    2\. Proactively manage properties by inspecting and locating problems before the customer brings them to our attention and then define a solution that is within customers' needs and budgetary parameters.

    3\. Frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication with customers. Provides candid feedback on customer relationship and the customer's perceptions of the product and service being provided, to maximize customer retention.

    4\. Monitors the activity of the Subcontractor regarding scheduling, quality control, and customer service.

    5\. Assure that property meets customer expectations in terms of appearance and beauty.

    6\. Maintain job costs per guidelines and assist in meeting profitability goals.

    7\. Makes recommendations regarding qualifying or disqualifying warranty work. Coordinates completion of warranty work per contract and instructions and provides updates to the Property Manager.

    8\. Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, field offices, and customer work-sites.

    9\. Prepares and presents proposals thoroughly and professionally according to company standards. Follows-up on bids and offers value-engineered solutions to customers.

    10\. Ensures all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to the customer.

    11\. Responds to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner.

    12\. Maintains record and tracking of all proposals in-progress and provides follow-up to maximize sales opportunities. Aggressively pursues all proposals in progress.

    13\. Maintains awareness of Best Practices by developing and recommending improved work methods and standards.

    14\. Represents Company at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business. Acts in capacity of Company representative and develops community ties to enhance public image and brand of the Company. Maintains positive relations with other companies in the industry and related industries.

    15\. Keep up on industry trends in order to identify and act upon opportunities for expanded services.

    16\. Provide feedback to appropriate parties regarding pricing, competition, and other market observations.

    17\. Manage an additional book of business during snow season and manages vendor completions of snow services in their geographic region to ensure client sites are ready to open each day. This requires at times 24/7 availability during inclement weather.

    18\. Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Experience, and Other Requirements

    · The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree (or higher) and/or a minimum of five to seven years of work-related experience.

    · Candidate must be proficient in the use of computers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel, and some information system experience.

    · Strong oral and written communication skills and supervisory skills are a must.

    · Must be proactive in communicating and approaching issues and/or problems.

    · Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

    · Must have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and able to problem-solve and make informed decisions.

    · Able to maintain confidentiality and manage a variety of confidential records.

    · The candidate must be fluent in English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.


    Work Travel

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to travel within the assigned area. Travel will require overnight trips as needed.
