    Position:  Project Manager, HVAC

    Location:  Cold Spring, NY

    Compensation: $120k base target salary plus Bonus

    Position Summary:

    The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing HVAC Duct installation projects from conception to completion. They coordinate with clients, design teams, and construction crews to ensure the successful implementation of HVAC Duct projects according to client specifications, budgetary constraints, and timeline requirements. The Project Manager acts as the main point of contact and provides leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with clients and design teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and specifications.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and materials procurement.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.

     

    Resource Management:

    • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Source and procure necessary materials and equipment, considering project requirements, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

     

    Budget and Cost Control:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated funds and cost control measures.
    • Monitor project expenses and provide regular reports on budget status to stakeholders.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to maximize project profitability.

     

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of union professionals, including contractors, crew members, and subcontractors.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project standards.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and productivity.

     

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with project requirements.

     

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
    • Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery, timely problem-solving, and client satisfaction.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience in construction project management, including planning, execution, and completion of projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of project management techniques, materials, and equipment.
    • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management principles.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, design teams, and construction crews.
    • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives and resolving issues.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permits
