Our client is an owner operated Commercial and Residential Landscape company that is growing. They want to hire a Landscape Maintenance Operations Manager to manage 4 maintenance crews, 1 enhancement crew and a floating crew.

This Manager will oversee the day to day delivery of landscape services to Residential and Commercial clients throughout the Philadelphia market. They will set the schedules and routing, will oversee and manage quality control and they will support crews to make sure they have clear instructions, materials and tools necessary to perform a high quality job safely. They will also manage the Enhancement and Installation crews as they work on various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance, enhancement and snow operations (Winter)

• Set schedules, routes and look for ways to cut down on wasted un-billable time.

• Provide instructions for crews in the morning kickoff, discuss the punch list, inspect trucks, make sure crews are ready for the day.

• Promote a culture of safety and teamwork

• Train staff on best practices on how to work smart with a focus on quality.

• Keep track of labor hours and time sheets.

• Spot check properties for quality and potential enhancement opportunities.

• Receive trucks at the end of the day at the shop and make sure all tools are in working order, discuss any issues that may have come up and prepare the vehicles for the next day.

• Manage Snow Removal operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leadership and management in the landscaping industry

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices

• Ability to manage diverse staff and adjust to the seasonality of the business

• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate with minimal supervision

• Leadership qualities
