Our client has over 30 years as a tree and plant health care leader in the North Carolina market with over a decade in Asheville, NC.  They are experienced with tree removal, pruning, limb cutting and providing clients with excellent service.

They want to hire a Business Developer who can sell their services to clients in the Asheville, NC area.  This position will meet with clients, discuss service options, write estimates and coordinate the work to be completed.

The company has a full fleet of equipment and multiple crews of experienced arborists.

The compensation is generous offering a base salary and commission structure which is paid out quarterly.  Their commissions are higher than what is common within the market and they are uncapped which provides strong earning potential.


Qualifications:

• ISA Certified Arborist 
• 3 years of either tree care or plant health care experience or horticultural experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean MVR
• Ability to work individually or with a team
• Must love trees and plants
• Must have grit and integrity

Responsibilities:

• Educate clients on the needs of their trees and plants
• Estimate job costs and provide quotes based on client needs within a defined territory
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs
• Create and foster relations with new and existing clients
• Attend green industry events
• Meet or exceed existing sales quotas
• Provide detailed crew briefings for sold jobs
• Ongoing improvement in arboricultural knowledge by attending educational training
