    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to sell commercial landscape service contracts and enhancements to Property Managers in the NYC market. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our customer base and increase revenue. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cold-calling, networking, and lead generation.

    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, facility managers, and property owners

    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and value proposition.

    • Negotiate contracts and close deals with new customers.

    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services.

    • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activity, and adjust the business development strategy accordingly.

    • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

    • At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the commercial landscaping industry.

    • Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market and the needs of property and facility managers.

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing deals.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

    • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Willingness to travel as needed.
