    Job Title:  Business Developer 

    Location: North West Palm Beach and South Palm Beach  

    Description

    Our client is a well established Commercial Landscape company that has been taking marketshare in the Palm Beach and Broward Counties.  They want to hire a Business Developer to sell their services to Property Managers within the defined territory.  Tree Care is an important service which they feel can be used as the key that unlocks the relationship. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with key decision makers including HOA board members, property managers and property owners; discovering their pain points and developing value-based solutions.
    • Qualifying opportunities to gain valuable info on properties and our ability to service them while achieving profit goals.
    • Building and presenting proposals to win business
    • Collaborate with operational team members and leveraging their expertise and knowledge 
    • Exceed sales activity benchmarks and quotas.

    Qualifications & Skillset

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sales experience
    • Professionalism: Must be professional, adaptable, and motivated while working well as both an individual and a member of a team.
    • Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels. Must enjoy prospecting.
    • Communication Skills:
      • Listening skills: Demonstrate excellent listening skills including active listening and non-verbal cues, as well as allow others to fully express their point of view allowing for full understanding.
      • Exceptional oral communications skills are required; ability to speak clearly and persuasively regardless of the client’s demeanor or responses.
      • Ability to write professional correspondence appropriate for all management levels.
    • Multi-channel support – Phone, email, chat, social media, 3rd party client systems. Strong internet research skills are a must.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate and transform data into actionable insights.
    • Technical Abilities: Experience with a CRM or SFA tool and ability to aggregate the information to track and monitor KPIs.
    • Experience managing multiple projects or mandates and a large territory
    • Local knowledge and contacts 
    • Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word with Excel skills.

     

    Compensation & Benefits 

    • Pay Range: $70,000 plus commissions (Flexible on Base depending on Candidate experience)
    • Commissions paid monthly
