About the Role:

Join United Defense Tactical as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Combatives Coach in Long Beach, CA, where you’ll inspire and train students in the art of self-defense and grappling. We are looking for a passionate and skilled coach who can elevate our students' skills while fostering a supportive and engaging training environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and combatives classes for various skill levels.

Develop and implement training programs tailored to students' needs and goals.

Provide personalized feedback and coaching to enhance student performance.

Maintain a safe and positive training environment for all participants.

Organize and participate in seminars, competitions, and special events.

Promote a culture of respect, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum.

Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and combatives.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or related martial arts.

Valid black belt certification in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse students.

Experience in teaching or coaching martial arts is highly desirable.

Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their personal goals.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Passion for martial arts and commitment to student development.

Flexible schedule to accommodate class timings and events.
