About Us

We are a fast-growing wholesale food manufacturer known for quality and consistency. We're looking for a highly organized, self-motivated individual with experience in food production or food manufacturing to support department management and lead daily packaging operations.

This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist in all functions of the Packaging Department

Operate and maintain slicing and bagging line for baked goods

Learn machinery operations, including troubleshooting and basic maintenance

Support scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) with maintenance team

Maintain inventory of packaging materials and supplies

Ensure quality control and food safety standards are met

Lead and work collaboratively with a small production team

Qualifications

Experience in food manufacturing or production required

Mechanically inclined with ability to learn equipment operations

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

Ability to take initiative, follow direction, and make quick decisions

Requirements

Able to handle physical workload (lifting, standing, repetitive motion)

Familiarity with food safety practices in a manufacturing facility

Willingness to grow into a leadership support role
