ABOUT BREAK THE LOVE

Break the Love is reinventing the tennis club through an online platform that connects recreational players with group based tennis activities so that they can connect with a community & channel their inner athlete. We're backed by some of the best investors in the business like leAD Sports backed by Adidas' Family Fund, Wim Fissette (Naomi Osaka's Coach), Hannah Bronfman, Sanne Vloet, and Brian O'Kelley (AppNexus). As seen in Business Insider & Wilson. Break the Love is looking for a Growth Intern working on high quality, high touch outbound sales efforts with tenacity and care for potential groups of players. 

This position can be fully remote but must be able to maintain EST working hours. If based in NYC, candidate will be given access to our co-working space. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work 100 leads per day in a sequence using a combination of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, email, & phone to reach out
• Work with Growth Marketing Manager to drive leads through growth hacking campaigns 
• Track activities by calling in the Zendesk platform, taking notes, and marking tasks as completed
• Be the voice of the player: share feedback with the CEO on what resonates and what doesn't with call scripts, messages and emails
• Become an expert in your assigned category, identify trends in this category and new potential lead sources

REQUIREMENTS:

• Part-time work experience in retail, merchandising, sales, or customer service
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn 
• Motivated to hit sales targets and improve performance every day 
• Empathy for our players and excited by the idea of helping people play the sport of tennis
