    Breakaway is a fast-growing music and entertainment company in search of a highly motivated, self-directed and experienced Content & Social Media Coordinator to curate all social media activities. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of social media operations of the company, including TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter & Spotify including post scheduling, weekly reports, staying up-to-date on newest platforms and techniques, budget preparation, on-site festival content creation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for music, festivals, live concerts, and digital media.. This individual is responsible for connecting with past, current, and future users, with the goal of turning fans into customers and customers into ambassadors. Ultimately turning Breakaway into a content suite that places the brand as a driver of culture, not just a ticket sales mechanism.

    The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Marketing Director and will work closely with all members of the marketing team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    IN-DEPTH DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

    • Development of brand awareness and online reputation using our brand guidelines and tone of voice (witty, unfiltered, uplifting)
    • Assist team through best in class digital & social strategy across all platforms & channels
    • Content management
    • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
    • Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content (ie: employee training, recognition and rewards for participation in the company's marketing and online review building).
    • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
    • Leverage the right tools to manage your content
    • Implement a content calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
    • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
    • Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns.
    • Staying ahead of, participating in, and responding to emerging trends and platforms
    • Oversee internal creative teams and other partners in the creation of multi-platform content that generates buzz and increases engagement for Breakaway
    • Collaborate with Marketing team on the promoting internal digital content to grow audience and revenue

    • Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
    • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (ie: Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
    • Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with the company's overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
    • Create and manage an online review funnel for building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
    • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
    • Track engagement and impression goals and create a social trajectory based on performance date
    • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
    • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
    • Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
    • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
    • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
    • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
    • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
    • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
    • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

    SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    3+ years digital content and multi-platform experience

    1 year of affiliate social experience, design skills, and blogging experience (This is not mandatory but a plus)

    Familiarity with the e-comm space & driving revenue

    Deep understanding of how users interact with digital content and how to create great user experiences from a content perspective

    Proven experience that shows a creative vision in developing interactive content and campaigns for a media and/or entertainment brand (Event specific is a plus)

    Ability to manage, guide & mentor direct reports

    Ability to work independently & multi-task changing priorities

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Strong attention to detail, interpersonal & organizational skills

    Strong proficiency in Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier, etc), Microsoft Office, Keynote, Canva and more

    Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.

    Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media

    Proficient in content marketing theory and application.

    Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.

    Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.

    Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

    Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company's field.

    Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.

    Practices superior time management.

    Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).

    Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.

    Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

    Event specific social marketing is a plus**
