The Bistro Server (AM Shift) is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to hotel guests during breakfast hours. This role creates a welcoming morning experience by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the Bistro is clean, stocked, and organized.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately
Prepare and serve breakfast items, coffee, and beverages according to brand standards
Operate POS system, process payments, and handle cash responsibly
Maintain cleanliness of the Bistro, including counters, tables, coffee station, and service areas
Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
Assist with opening duties, including setup of breakfast service
Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs and requests
Work collaboratively with hotel team members to ensure a smooth guest experience
Qualifications
Previous food service or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
Must meet local requirements for food handling certification (if applicable)
