About the Role:

Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central is looking for an energetic and passionate Breakfast Attendant/Cook to help us start our guests' days off right! In this role, you'll be the heart of our morning operation, delivering warm, delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable stay in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook hot and cold breakfast items including eggs, meats, pastries, and fresh sides

Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast buffet stations throughout the morning service

Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner

Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to meet Hilton brand standards

Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, and dining areas before, during, and after service

Track and communicate inventory needs to management to ensure adequate breakfast supplies

Requirements:

Previous experience in a food service, kitchen, or hospitality role preferred

Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques

Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, guest-first attitude

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler Certification a plus)

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
