The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and taking down the daily complimentary breakfast service to ensure guests start their day with a positive experience. This role requires a friendly, service-oriented individual who can maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and guest satisfaction consistent with IHG Brand Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare the breakfast area before guest service begins.

Ensure all food and beverage items are fresh, properly stocked, and attractively displayed.

Greet guests warmly and provide excellent service, addressing requests or concerns promptly and professionally.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food and dining areas throughout service.

Monitor food quality and replenish items as needed during service.

Follow all health, safety, and brand standards, including proper food handling and storage procedures.

Clean and sanitize breakfast area, tables, equipment, and utensils after service.

Assist with inventory control by monitoring supply levels and reporting shortages to management.

Handle guest feedback courteously and communicate concerns or maintenance issues to management.

Uphold a clean, professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards.

Qualifications:

Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Availability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule & Pay:

Part-Time Position (typically 15–25 hours per week)

Early morning shifts (approximately 5:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)

Pay Range: $11.00-$12.50
