About the Role:

Salinas Valley Hotel LP is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team in Salinas, CA! This is a great opportunity to be the first smile guests see in the morning, helping set the tone for an exceptional stay. If you love people and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and break down the daily breakfast buffet service area

Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner

Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast service

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining area, tables, and food stations

Handle food safely in accordance with health and safety regulations

Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary needs when possible

Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to management

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong attention to detail
