About the Role:

Avid by IHG in beautiful Traverse City, MI is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to kick off our guests' mornings in the best way possible! Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet throughout service hours

Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive dining experience

Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards at all times

Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items including coffee, juices, and pastries

Keep the dining area clean, organized, and fully stocked during breakfast service

Clear and sanitize tables, counters, and food stations following health and safety guidelines

Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any concerns with a smile

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred

Strong customer service skills with a warm, outgoing personality

Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed

Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
