Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (spring through fall)

• Shift: Morning shift starting at 5:00 AM , 5–6 days/week

• Location: The Bayview Hotel, Bar Harbor, Maine

• Pay : $18.90 - $20 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a refined continental breakfast menu including baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, high-quality charcuterie, eggs, and rotating seasonal offerings

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation standards

• Keep breakfast offerings fresh, stocked, and attractively presented throughout service

• Track inventory and assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed

• Clean and reset kitchen and breakfast area at the end of the shift

• Communicate with front-of-house and hotel team to ensure seamless guest service

• Uphold the Bayview's high standards for quality, presentation, and hospitality

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred

• Ability to work early mornings (start time 5:00 AM)

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety

• Friendly, guest-centered attitude with strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
