- Manage food inventory and supplies, ensuring they are fresh and stored correctly, and report any shortages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation during breakfast service.
- Adjust cooking methods to accommodate food allergies and special dietary requests.
- Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new breakfast offerings.
- Monitor and manage portion control and waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and creative breakfast cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to quality service.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
