    Job Overview

    We are seeking a reliable, fast-paced, and experienced Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our busiest shifts of the week, responsible for delivering high-quality, beautifully executed breakfast and brunch favorites. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume morning environment, possesses excellent griddle and egg-cooking skills, and takes pride in consistency and presentation.

    Shift Requirements

    Schedule: Mandatory weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays are our peak days).

    Hours: Early morning shift (e.g., 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)

    Key Responsibilities

    Set up, stock, and prep the line station with all necessary breakfast ingredients and utilities.

    Prepare a wide range of breakfast items to order, including eggs to temperature, omelets, pancakes, waffles, benedicts, and breakfast meats.

    Maintain a fast, efficient pace while ensuring strict adherence to recipes, portion controls, and plate presentation standards.

    Monitor food quality and temperature throughout the shift to ensure food safety compliance.

    Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication, ticket accuracy, and timely service.

    Clean, sanitize, and break down the kitchen station at the end of the shift, ensuring proper storage and labeling of all leftover food items.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience specifically working a breakfast line.

    ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification

    Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, particularly expert-level egg preparation (poaching, flipping, omelets).

    Ability to handle a high volume of tickets simultaneously while maintaining focus and accuracy.

    Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (Food Handler’s Card required).

    Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude under pressure.

    Physical stamina to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 40 lbs.
