    The Breakfast Cook at the Embassy Suites prepares fresh omelets for guests as part of the complimentary breakfast. Utilizing hot, non-stick pans or flat-top grills to cook the eggs quickly while keeping them fluffy. Preparing personalized omelets with ingredients like bacon, sausage, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, and cheese. Expertly flipping the egg mixture to ensure it is cooked through while maintaining the integrity of the omelet. Lifting the cooked edges to let the raw egg run underneath, ensuring a perfectly set yet fluffy texture. Part-time, AM hours. Responsibilities: • Read recipe measurements, meal charts, label instructions in English, and use the correct measuring tools • Observe all company-required food safety guidelines and protocols in the areas where food is prepared and kitchen equipment is utilized • Prepare recipes using the proper measurements needed for condiments and wash dice, and slice fruits and vegetables, and meats, for the variety of meals we prepare for customers • Maintain a clean, organized prep area and workstation at all times, and sanitize equipment after each shift or when we close • Perform other basic cooking duties as necessary, such as brewing coffee or tea, preparing soups, reducing sauces, and assisting other cooks in the kitchen if needed Qualifications: • Available to work weekends and holidays, pitching in extra hours whenever needed • Understanding of how to read recipes, meal charts, measuring tools, and labels in English • Prefer someone with some kitchen prep experience and associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent, but it is not required • You have the basic skills necessary to prep food for a chef/cook with minimal supervision expected • Basic familiarity with operating kitchen equipment Compensation: $16 hourly
