Terry's Grill in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a skilled Short Order Cook to join our breakfast team! If you're fast, reliable, and passionate about crafting the perfect omelette or egg dish, we want you behind our grill. Come be part of a team that keeps hungry customers coming back every morning.

Responsibilities:

Prepare made-to-order omelettes, eggs, and breakfast items to customer specifications

Operate and maintain a fast-paced breakfast grill station efficiently

Execute short order cooking with speed and accuracy during high-volume service

Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portioning on every plate

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grill and cook station

Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely ticket fulfillment

Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times

Requirements:

Previous short order cook experience is required

Demonstrated skill in omelette and egg preparation

Ability to work a fast-paced breakfast and grill environment

Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously

Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts

Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards

Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
