Responsibilities: Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs Qualifications: 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software Analytical skills, critical thinking, and very strong math skills are essential A Bachelors’ degree in construction management, civil engineering, accounting, or a related field is required • Must be Xactimate certified.
