Breeden Law Office is seeking a much-admired, proficient Family Law Attorney to work as a Senior Associate in our thriving family law office. Our Offer: • A compensation package of roughly $150,000 salary base plus a bonus plan • Company provided Health Insurance • Retirement account with employer match • Paid for Malpractice Insurance • Reimbursement for up to 12 annual Continued Legal Education Credits (CLE) • Reimbursement of North Carolina Bar dues • Complimentary subscription to RightNow Media @ Work • Exalted ethics and professionalism in a Collaborative atmosphere emphasizing achieving outcomes for patrons • Adaptability in working hours and workplaces (such as from home) Responsibilities: • Represent clients in family law cases from initial consultation to final resolution, demonstrating autonomy in developing strategies and guiding clients through the legal process. • Maintain a balance between empathy and professionalism when working with clients to ensure long-term relationships and successful legal outcomes. • Effectively communicate with clients, other attorneys, and the court throughout the legal proceedings. • Collaborate proactively with legal and support staff to provide clients with a top-notch customer experience, including timely and clear communication. • Handle family law cases in Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties. Qualifications: • You are heroic, dynamic, and empathetic. • By heroic, we mean that you see your legal education as a tool to help people create the lives that they desire. • By dynamic, we mean that you are a high-energy professional who uses your talent and drive to serve clients – you know what is at stake, and this isn’t just a job to you. • By empathetic, we mean that clients say that you truly care about their cases, respond to their concerns, and help them achieve their goals. • You have at least 3 years of substantive, successful first-chair family law experience in Wake County or similar jurisdiction. • You are comfortable working in a team environment with clear standards for work products, case timelines, timely communication with clients, and attorney timekeeping. • You are prepared to serve as a director/conductor/quarterback for your caseload, supervising the efforts of legal and administrative staff for the good of clients. Hiring Requirements: • Valid North Carolina law license. • At least three years of successful family law experience, preferably in North Carolina. • Demonstrated interest in family law. • Valid North Carolina Notary Public, or ability to obtain it immediately. • Three professional references.
