Equipment Specialist – Aftermarket Powersports:

The Equipment Specialist at Brent Industries is responsible for the maintenance and oversight of company-owned equipment, vehicles, and the space that serves them. This position’s responsibilities include overseeing the proper maintenance of Operation’s equipment & vehicles, as well as conducting repairs on them as needed.

This position reports to the Vice President, but also works very closely with the President (Garage & vehicle/Powersports related) and Operations Manager (equipment & facilities related) to ensure the proper priorities are executed accordingly.

Responsibilities:

Oversees company fleet and its ongoing maintenance & repairs

Includes all Powersports, trailers & vehicles

Includes general washing & detailing

Keeping machines detailed and cycled through the Showroom

Coordinating services rendered by vendors in accordance with BI standards/norms

Executes any required repairs & coordinates maintenance of Operation’s equipment

Leads new & ongoing shop-build projects

Assist in the selection and implementation of new equipment & tools (both Operation’s and the Garage)

Facilitates all pre-event preparation of machines, trailers, and vehicles

Assists with the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency & effectiveness (i.e. PM instructions/schedules)

Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Priorities:

Proper Maintenance & Repair of operations-related equipment to minimize downtime

Proper Maintenance & Repair of company vehicles & workspaces

Required Skills and Experience

Background or experience with Powersports Vehicles & Accessories

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure

Intermediate computer proficiency with experience using Excel, Office & Gmail

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid NYS Driver’s License
