    Your Role with the Company

    As the Corporate Controller, you will report directly to the CFO. As a team player with good interpersonal skills, you are responsible for supervising and coordinating all accounting and administrative activities, including Contract Administration, AP, AR, and Payroll, while providing support to other general and administrative departments, business units, and construction projects to assist in their administrative financial needs. With your dedication and hard work, you are responsible for providing accurate and timely financial statements every month, quarter, and annually. 

    As a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills, you will coordinate with external auditors in annual and other special audit functions and external tax compliance firms on yearly tax filing functions.

    Additionally, you will evaluate financial information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions and direct in-service training and development of accounting staff.

     

    What's Needed to Win:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
    • An advanced degree is a plus.
    • CPA certification is a plus.
    • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted standard accounting policies and procedures (GAAP) and construction principles.
    • Experience in the construction or related industry is required.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
    • Knowledge of Viewpoint is a plus
