    Take your career to the next level with this unique opportunity to join a growing team in the commercial real estate lending space and learn from the best and brightest in the business!  Our client has experienced major growth over the past 3 years and is building out their team to support the first doubling in size year-over-year.  This newly-created role is a great opportunity to leverage your public accounting experience with real-world experience.

    What's exciting about this role aside from the day-to-day accounting duties is the opportunity to interface with investors and prepare important materials for investor presentations.  This role requires a critical thinker to understand the company’s strategic objectives, financial performance, and operations.



    What You'll Tackle

    • Track loan progress and schedule key loan servicing events as outlined in the loan documents.
    • Process draw requests by coordinating with borrower and third party and ensuring compliance with the loan documents and construction schedules.
    • Track investor inquiries and assist in the development of responses.
    • Prepare analysis and provide thoughtful input for the development of content for investor presentations, executive management reporting, annual reports and disclosures for the company’s investor relations website.
    • Enter transactions and Journal Entries as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

     

    What's Needed To Win

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must have an understanding of financial statements
    • Knowledge of the mortgage/financial industry and the various industry participants
    • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
    • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
    • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
    • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage / real estate industry experience preferred
