This newly evolved role will be responsible for product lifecycle management, upstream and various downstream marketing, market and channel diversification, and evaluating potential M&A opportunities. Given the opportunity, it is expected that this role will spend significant time in the field with customers and clinicians, along with regular international travel.     What You’ll Tackle:

    • Product Life Cycle Management - Own Product Life Cycle management for all current product in North America, to include potential new products and/or new market launches, updating an existing product, branding and sourcing strategy (together with Galway Purchasing and Supply Chain), and pricing/portfolio profitability review, together with Finance.
    • New Product Development - Lead the Portfolio Management function within North America – identify emerging market trends and technologies to create short term and long term pipeline. Provides input to the Galway on product lifecycle decisions
    • M&A - Partner on potential M&A opportunities – identify, vet and develop business cases for effective evaluations
    • Market Diversification - Lead development of market segment diversification strategies for North America. Build specific customer-driven growth strategies based upon customer needs, market and competitive trends.
    • Canadian Marketing – Lead development and execution of Canadian marketing programs to support business objectives and Canadian expansion plans.
    • Content Creation – Collaborate with downstream marketing to uncover and develop engaging and creative content to leverage across various marketing platforms. Drive demand generation activities and customer conversion efforts in partnership with local and global marketing teams.
    • Downstream Marketing Support – Support downstream marketing programs, projects and objectives as required.

    Other responsibilities or duties, as necessary

     

    What’s Needed to Win:

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business or equivalent in Marketing
    • 7+ years of professional experience in healthcare marketing and product lifecycle management (preferred)
    • Experience working cross-functionally in a collaborative product or service development environment
    • Outstanding analytical skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with other senior leaders in addressing complex business issues.
    • Experience within a global manufacturing organization, including exposure to R&D/Engineering, Sales/Marketing, and Operations/Manufacturing.
    • Proficient in MS Office, and especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
    • Ability to travel both domestic and international, as needed
    • Creative, out of the box, thinker
    • Proven track record of results
    • Up to 50% travel (incl. internationally) when travel resumes
