Our growing, PE-backed financial services client is anticipating substantial growth and seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their tight-knit, entrepreneurial team at their retail and service location. This hands-on role is a newly evolved position that will oversee the success of the department and will have the opportunity to grow with the company. The Accounting Manager will perform general accounting duties and financial analysis of company operations to provide management with information to drive continuous financial and operational improvement. What You’ll Tackle:
- Review historical books and correct for any discrepancies.
- Bring current company books by closing prior periods.
- Responsible for monthly financial close process, including revenue recognition, billing, general ledger entries, and preparation of schedules.
- Supervise accounting staff in the performance of their duties which include accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review the costing methodology of servicing department for accurate billing to the parent company. Understand the flow and relationship of how service and cost codes get recorded into the system.
- Prepare tax filings and support operational processes as needed.
- Perform other work as may be assigned.
What’s Needed to Win:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Experience maintaining the books and records and preparing monthly financials of a small to medium size business
- Strong managerial abilities to lead a team of 3+
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Highly disciplined and organized.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong computer software, ERP, and related systems experience.
- Demonstrate “can do” attitude, with willingness and flexibility to complete projects on time.
- Advanced excel skills required

Base salary in the $75,000 to $85,000 range plus bonus and benefits.
