Program Director
Brevard Rescue Mission is a Christian non-profit that seeks to glorify God by ministering to the needs of homeless women and their children. We work to permanently break the cycle of homelessness in these families by providing housing, access to health care, transportation, education, job and life skills training in a safe, Christ-centered residential setting. The program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility and goal advancement with guidance administered from a Biblical perspective.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Director is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all the organization’s programs in accordance with the mission of the organization. As a member of the senior management team, the director of programs participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving. She works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned. The Program Director is responsible for developing, executing and evaluating an effective program for helping homeless women to break the cycle of homelessness. This includes program design, oversight of case management, children’s programming, facilities maintenance, and volunteer coordination.
Supervise, plan and coordinate the work of the program staff including; hiring, evaluation, training and team building.
Responsible for the creation, implementation, management, and evaluation of all program activities.
Ensure the proper intake of new clients, development of effective individual case plans, follow-up, assessment and reporting of client progress.
Develop, implement and evaluate recruitment strategies to ensure the appropriate number and suitability of clients participating in the program.
Develop program curriculum, data collection design and analysis.
Analyze trends in the program, identifying issues and developing and recommending solutions to the executive director.
Directly supervise personnel responsible for:
o Case Management: intake, case plans, client growth and oversight
o Children’s Program: Kid’s Club and children’s tutoring program
o Volunteer Coordination: identification, training, documentation and appreciation of volunteers.
o Facility Management: maintenance/supply of physical facilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree Required
MSW preferred
Minimum of 3 years successful experience in residential women’s program management
Minimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial experience
Experience creatively developing programs and building teams
Servant-Leader Christian
Resourcefulness, dependability, maturity, humility
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with a team
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must have dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

SALARY/HOURS/ETC.
Full-time position – 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, exempt position
Salary dependent on work experience, skill set, and education
Drug Testing and Background Check required
Supervising multiple sites within South/Central Brevard County, Florida
