    BREVARD RESCUE MISSION JOB OPENING

    Volunteer Coordinator

    The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for the development, oversight, and monitoring of the volunteer program. This is a full-time position.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Develop key volunteer positions, assessing organizational need for volunteers

    Community outreach to find volunteers; churches, events, e-mail, social media, schools

    Screening (interviews, required background checks, etc.) and matching volunteers to needs

    Provide tours to volunteer and community groups

    Training, orientation and proper documentation for all volunteers

    Scheduling and supervision of volunteers

    Volunteer recognition

    Database Management and tracking of volunteer statistics

    Assist in supervising program participants during volunteer assignments

    Coordinate volunteers to facilitate BRM’s Lifeskills Program as well as Bible studies

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Volunteer coordinator experience preferred

    Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities

    Excellent writing and interpersonal skills

    Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

    SALARY/HOURS/ETC.

    Salary dependent on work experience, skillset and education

    Background Check required, valid FL driver’s license, clean driving record

    Christian Beliefs must be in alignment with BRM’s Statement of Faith (on website)
