    BREVARD RESCUE MISSION JOB OPENING

    Facilities Manager

    The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the upkeep of the physical and mechanical facilities of our locations. This is a full-time position.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Research solutions, locate vendors or volunteers and negotiate contracts with regards to facility upkeep.

    Directs and oversees the work of outside contractors and volunteers involved with the maintenance, repair and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

    Work within budgetary restraints and maintain the most cost-effective methods of meeting facility needs.

    Provide supervision and oversight of maintenance technician

    Respond to questions and repair requests

    Operate and maintains grass cutting mowers, edgers, trimmers, pruners, blowers, chain saws, pressure washers and other hand and power tools

    General maintenance of vehicles and equipment

    Assist with deliveries to include moving furniture

    QUALIFICATIONS

    High School Diploma or GED Preferred

    Experience with managing commercial and/or home repairs and maintenance

    Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities

    Ability to successfully work as a member of a team

    Ability to use Microsoft Office applications is preferred

    Must possess general to advanced knowledge in the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, drywall, etc.

    SALARY/HOURS/ETC.

    Salary dependent on work experience, skillset and education

    Background Check required, valid FL driver’s license, clean driving record

    Christian Beliefs must be in alignment with BRM’s Statement of Faith (on website)

    Position located in Brevard County, FL

    Must be available to work weekends as needed
