    Job Description

    Brick Staffing is seeking a BUSINESS AND ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE for our Denver based client that is in the plumbing and heating wholesale business. (T2H)

     RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     HANDLING POINT-OF SALE-TRANSACTIONS by receiving funds and posting cash, checks, and credit card transactions to customer accounts; reconciling and balancing cash and other transactions daily; ensuring proper tax exemption documentation is received and reviewing orders for correct sales tax jurisdiction

    PROVIDING EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE __ through managing our switchboard; receiving and routing incoming calls to appropriate team members. Warmly welcoming on-site customers and providing them quick and efficient transactional services

    ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES __ such as assisting Supervisor and other team members with customer correspondence and accounts receivable and general office/accounting tasks

    OTHER IMPORTANT AND IMPACTFUL DUTIES SUCH AS __ maintaining effective and secure document control/information systems by filing packing slips, pick tickets, tax certificates and other business and accounting documents in our electronic filing system, receiving, sorting, and forwarding incoming mail

    YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO:

    ·         Work 1 Saturday every 6 weeks (from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)

    ·         Learn about the company and your co-workers so that you may direct calls appropriately and efficiently

    ·         Take ownership for work assignments

    ·         Learn and apply new technology as needed

    ·         Ability to navigate in an ERP system

    ·         Exercise time management reliability, accountability, and punctuality

     

    YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE 2 OR MORE YEARS OF RELEVANT JOB EXPERIENCE IN AREAS SUCH AS: cash handling and customer service, accounts receivable, cashiering/teller operations, medical billing and cashiering or office administration. EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE 2 OR MORE YEARS of complex cashiering, accounts receivable experience, an understanding and/or experience with sales tax. Have previous job experience in a wholesale, construction, or manufacturing accounting environment.
