Sr. Software Engineer and Team Lead

Bridg is seeking a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead who will jump right into hands-on development while leading a team of developers for our flagship products. Our teams collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Customer Success and provides the design and engineering for our systems.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of 4-6 developers in the implementation of complex feature sets
Collaborate with the CTO, CPO, Product Managers, QA, and other Team Leads in the development of features and functionality of our product
Perform hands-on Implementations solutions based on our core technology stack; suggest improvements where appropriate
Conduct Code Reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Engineering discipline
5+ years Java and Spring experience
2+ years functioning in a team lead role
Experience in a variety of relevant technologies including Postgres, Kafka, Java, Spring Framework, NoSQL databases, Elastic Search, Docker, Microservices architecture, and JavaScript
AWS cloud experience, RDS EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, etc.
Javascript and common frameworks
Experience with React, Node or Clojure a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly motivated, curious, capable and a lifetime learner
