  • Responsibilities

    Bridge Community Health Clinic has an immediate opening for a caring and dynamic phlebotomist. As a Phlebotomist at Bridge Clinic you play a key role in helping to remove barriers to care and improve the health of our patients and communities. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role based in our Wausau clinic facility.

    The successful candidate must be reliable, diligent, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

    What you will do in this role:

    Perform accurate venipuncture and capillary blood collection

    Perform EKG’s

    Handle and process specimens accurately according to established protocols.

    Bill for tests through computer system

    Record all tests in Laboratory Log.

    Perform end-of-day sterilization.

    Manage clinical medical supplies including ordering and monitoring inventory and utilization.

    Assist with patient billing for laboratory services.

    Coordinate and oversee vaccine program.

    Education and Experience Required for Consideration:

    Current Phlebotomy certification

    1-3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist

    Current CPR/BLS certification
