    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform civil/structural engineering duties and project management tasks including monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers.
    • Perform structural design and analysis, and prepare design sketches.
    • Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
    • Instruct draftspersons on design drawings.
    • Lead technical and project discussions with the design team.
    • Responsible for quality control/assurance of project deliverables.
    • Perform engineering inspection/field work.

    Telecommuting permitted less than 50% from local area.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

    Experience: 5 years as a bridge engineer or structural engineer, or related occupation

    OR:

    Education: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

    Experience: 3 years as a bridge engineer or structural engineer, or related occupation

    Education or experience required in:

    • Structural design of bridge and infrastructure projects
    • Finite element analysis in programs such as SAP2000 and/or CSI Bridge
    • Drawing, specification, and cost estimate production for infrastructure projects
    • AASHTO LRFD design code

    Additional Information

    Compensation
    The salary for this role is $121,200 to $129,300.
