    Job Summary

    The Business Analysis team is responsible for identifying business requirements, addressing usability concerns, and document solutions. They also provide reports to leaders in the organization to assist in driving business decisions.

    As a member of the Business Analysis Team, the Business Analyst supports the team members throughout the project lifecycle. Under the direction of Director of Business Intelligence, you will aide in documenting both business requirements, comprehensive solutions and generating various reports using specific parameters for a number of projects.

    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

    Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills and works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized reports. Work with large amounts of data and analyzes it to find trends and patterns, and to help make both conclusions and recommendations for future efforts.

    Translates data into an understandable document. Presents actionable data to end users in the format best matched to their needs, including publishing key reports using Microsoft Access, Excel, or PowerPoint. Provides support to users in interpreting and presenting data, including presentation of data to individuals and groups.

    Development, analysis, and evaluation of key performance metrics, including financial, utilization, clinical and operational.

    Develop and maintain data models, reports and dashboards using knowledge of internal data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed.

    Supports the integration, coordination, and data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Chooses the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis.

    Analyzing healthcare data using SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel.

    Gather and document requirements by working with appropriate stakeholders. Document process workflows.

    Participates and contributes on projects and software implementations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    3 years’ experience working with healthcare data, analytics, and reporting

    Experience with Excel and/or database skills

    Experience with Business Intelligence Software (BI360, Tableau, Hyperion, etc)

    Experience with Financial Analysis

    Comfortable working in various electronic health programs and software programs

    Written skills summarizing audit findings via email or report
