    Job Description

    AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Inspection Engineering in Phoenix, AZ.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for bridge inspection and design related tasks in accordance with the department of transportation and regional and municipal standards
    • Prepare inspection reports, load ratings, and rehabilitation recommendations in accordance with industry standards
    • Evaluate structural integrity and document deficiencies, deterioration, and maintenance needs through detailed reports, sketches, and photographs
    • Conduct field inspections of bridges and other transportation structures following federal and other relevant regulations
    • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and best practices
    • Coordinate with agencies to obtain permits for inspections
    • Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week
    • Up to 40% domestic travel required
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field of study and 1 year of experience as a Bridge Inspection team member or a related occupation.

    Position requires experience in the following:

    1. Understanding of steel and concrete design
    2. SAP2000
    3. CSiBridge
    4. AutoCAD or Microstation
    5. Construction inspection and quality assurance for road and infrastructure construction projects
    6. Retaining wall design
    7. Transportation engineering including estimation
    8. MS Office Suite including Excel and Word
