This position offers a balanced blend of indoor and outdoor responsibilities across the changing seasons, providing a unique chance to engage with both boats and boating enthusiasts. This role will emerge you in boating; being on the dock of the bay, boating opportunities, and experiences on the water and in this waterside community.

    Your responsibilities:

    Operations Management: As branch manager your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth and safe operations. You will be responsible for implementing operational procedures and policies that promote good safety and customer expereince for all guests, team, and equipment.

    Team Management: You will develop, train, and oversee an operations team of seasonal teammates to ensure all are well-trained, safe, and capable.

    Customer Service: Delivering exceptional customer service is crucial to retain members and attract new clientele, and you will ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. This includes addressing any concerns or complaints, managing bookings, and leading efforts to improve service delivery.

    Fleet management: You will oversee the readiness of a fleet of single engine boats recreational boats (fifteen boats and growing), ensuring state, federal, and local compliance with safety regulations and standards.

    Sales Support: You will work closely with the sales and marketing departments to promote training courses, boat rentals, and membership enrollments.

    Fiscal Management: You will have a significant role in managing finances, including budget oversight, reporting, and meeting financial targets. You will collaborate with the president and administration to ensure offerings align with financial goals.

    What skills you need:

    A positive and supportive attitude, a solid work ethic, and a genuine enjoyment in assisting others.

    Skilled in managing operations, implementing procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and safe working environment.

    Ability to learn local, state, and federal safety regulations, coupled with an ability to ensure adherence to regulations every day.

    Basic mechanical knowledge to supervise the maintenance and readiness of our fleet, ensuring they are in top condition for use.

    Skilled in leading, training, and managing a small team to ensure they are well-prepared, safe, and proficient in their roles, while also fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment in line with the company culture.

    Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe experience for all guests.

    Ability to address and resolve concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

    Ability and willingness to work with sales and marketing teams to promote services, increase membership enrollments, and support sales efforts.

    Skilled in following budgets and working to meet financial targets.

    Ability to collaborate with owners and administrative departments to ensure offerings match the company's vision and goals.

    Strong communication skills, able to clearly share information and ideas with team members, guests, and stakeholders, creating an open and inclusive environment.

    Ability to skillfully operate single engine recreational boats, along with the physical agility, mobility, and endurance to work in indoor, outdoor, and dockside settings.

    This is a full-time year-round role. We are seeking a candidate who is able and equipped to navigate the in-season demands and values off-season flexibility, which fosters a healthy work-life balance for the right individual. During the summer season the roles schedule encompasses customary weekend and holiday commitments, offset by dependable mid-week time off, ensuring a balance between operational requirements and personal time. In the off-season, the schedule offers substantial flexibility, opportunities for remote work and more autonomous time management. We have found that team members who are nearby with a comfortable commute thrive best.

    We are offering a competitive salary of $55,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience, ability, and fit. Plus, seasonal compensation bonuses for culture and performance success.
