Bridge Tower Homes is a vertically integrated real estate investment company based in Dallas TX with existing operations in DFW, Houston, Austin and Charlotte. The company develops and builds single family home communities for lease. Our property management company manages the properties after homes are delivered from the construction team.We are hiring a VP of Site Acquisition and Land Development to join our growing company and will be based in Tampa, FL. The position will be responsible for the Tampa, Orlando, and west Florida markets. The position will 1) Develop a Land Strategy 2) Continually Search for Land & Finished Lots 3) Land & Lot Acquisition 4) Entitle, Develop and Manage Land portfolio. The position will oversee and guide our residential development projects from acquisition through the entitlement and development processes.
Job Requirements
Establish land acquisition goals that support the business plan.
Establish strong relationships with sellers (developers, land owners, brokers, builders, banks, etc), and other related parties (banks, attorneys, engineers, planners, etc) to ensure access to potential opportunities & information on deals transacting in the market
Direct & manage the identification of opportunities for lots/land, Letters of Intent (LOI's), negotiations, proforma financial analysis, and purchase agreements for acquisition of lots/land.
Direct & manage land packages for all acquisition opportunities including all data gathering & analysis, preparation & timely delivery of land packages.
Responsible for all land acquisition goals to achieve the business plan goals
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including strategic planning, proven ability to deliver results
Understand market and industry trends
Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships
Action oriented, with the drive to push for successful close of acquisitions
Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively
Proven ability to lead and execute strong oral presentations
Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate & collaborate to solve complex problems
Education
Undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field (Finance/Economics, Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development & etc.).
Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of residential development experience.
