In this role, you will work directly with the acquisitions team to scope and budget homes for purchase, build the renovation list, budget, and materials needed for the full life-cycle of residential rehab from purchase. Your focus will be to establish, maintain and improve all front-end aspects of the renovation process for quality homes on a tight deadline, within budget. This includes assessing the cost to renovate, all materials needed to renovate, managing vendor relationships, and on-brand communication internally and externally.  If you have a sincere appreciation for people, creating budgets and a scope of work for construction projects, enjoy the fast-paced thrill of building beautiful, quality homes, and are able to use technology to build and analyze data, you may be a good fit.  The right individual will be a flexible, analytical, big-picture forward thinker who is self-motivated, results-oriented and can collaborate with team members to successful project completion by demonstrating leadership in the position, generosity, integrity and drive. Responsibilities: • Prelim walks • Scope and budget creation • Renovation list creation • Material list creation • Acquire photos of the property • Understanding of neighborhood safety • Floor plan drawings for any conversions • Submitting budget summaries to team • Project start walks with Project Managers • Project handoff discussions with Project Managers  • Review budgets with Construction MGR • Effective utilization of internal systems • Full renovation budget accountability and responsibility • Maintain and/or improve quality standards • Cross-departmental communication and collaboration • Communicate with external vendors and team members Qualifications: • Class C Contractor License in KC and the surrounding areas (or will successfully attain within first 12 months of employment) • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience • Exhibits social poise and an ability to connect easily with a wide variety of people • Continuously demonstrate Core Values of Leadership, Integrity, Generosity and Drive • Valid Driver's License • Experience in creating budgets for residential rehabs (2 years or more required) Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
