    The Bridges at Ankeny is seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA), or willing to obtain their CMA certification within 90 days of hire. This position plays a crucial role in creating the nursing staff schedule and assisting on the floor as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain the nursing staff schedule, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
    • Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee schedules and time-off requests.
    • Assist with filling open shifts by coordinating with available staff.
    • Provide support on the floor as needed, including performing CNA or CMA duties.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
    • Willingness to obtain CMA certification within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
    • Previous experience in scheduling or healthcare staffing preferred.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality care and service to residents.
    • Flexibility to adjust schedules as needed to meet staffing requirements.
