We are searching for a part time Media/ Marketing Assistant. Position available immediately. 16-24 hours per week. Salary based on experience and availability. Requirements:
- Maintaining Social Media platforms daily with scheduling and efficient timing for max exposure
- Skills in communication; typing; computer skills (can use or willing to learn Canva);
- Familiar with google sharing; docs and spreadsheets
- Maintain google sheets/docs for chamber membership
- Photography/ photo taking, editing, loading skills preferred
- Chamber Email monitoring: answer general questions; fwd emails to appropriate board members and follow up to assure seen/answered
- Creating and distributing event flyers and information to members
- Attend Monthly meetings, take notes and generate plan and summary of all board meetings for public reading in a timely manner.
- Welcome Center front desk: greet people; welcome to the island and direct accordingly
- Expected Hours 10am-2pm 3-4 days a week to include most Saturdays with potential for further hours. Summer Saturdays may be 7-1 at farmers market or 10-2 at welcome center/ office
