    JOB SUMMARY

    Love working with young children? We have a great opportunity for a talented and playful pediatric Physical Therapist to work with children in a school setting on our Assessment Team. You will be working with a group of skilled therapists to complete assessments as needed for students in the Bay Area. The schedule is flexible and will be determined with each assessment request. Our preferred applicant will have pediatric experience, knowledge of pediatric assessments, and love helping children reach their potential. You will be responsible for providing evaluations, collaborating with therapy and educational staff, and participating in the IEP team process.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • This Pediatric Physical Therapist is responsible for completing evaluations on an as needed basis
    • Be responsible for working with children, district staff, and IEP team
    • Follows the organizational and facility's safety procedures regarding personal protection and safety
    • Communicating to family, district, and IEP team regarding the patient's progress
    • The Occupational Therapist is required to attend IEP team meetings

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Must have a valid California Physical Therapist license
    • Prefer 1 year of Pediatric Physical Therapist experience
    • Prefer 1 year of school-based pediatric experience
