BrightStar Care of Ventura & Oxnard is currently hiring for RNs, LVNs, and MAs to assist with COVID-19 testing at local schools. This is an ongoing assignment with visits being scheduled throughout the week. We are also looking for RNs and LVNs to assist with administering the COVID-19 Vaccine to clients at local grocery stores. Shifts are between 4 and 8 hours long. Job Benefits:

For testing at schools, you will be responsible for the following:
Swab testing students in a school environment.
Maintaining organization of specimen samples.
Communicating with on-site coordinators.
Keeping an open line of communication with the BrightStar Care office staff.
For administering the vaccine, you will be responsible for the following:
Arriving on time and prepared to work.
Drawing up the vaccine into syringe.
Administering COVID-19 Vaccine.
Handing out immunization card and information packet.
Maintaining communication with on-site coordinators
Keeping an open and constant line of communication with the BrightStar Care office staff.
Current unrestricted RN, LVN, OR MA license in state for which care is being provided
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (if an RN)
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
