    Job Description

    Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise & Wholesale project & order management Analyst to join our Engineering & Construction Centralized Support Team. As the Analyst, you will drive on-time delivery of our network through lifecycle management of complex Enterprise & Wholesale Engineering projects & orders. The Analyst is a key player and coordinator of a larger cross-functional team environment that includes Customer Facing Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Service Delivery & Assurance and Field Operations. This role requires strong business acumen, the ability to define and implement groundbreaking ideas, to work within a fast-moving environment and to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact. The position will be reporting to the Manager of Engineering & Construction.

    As the Analyst, Engineering & Construction your responsibilities will include:

    • Drive on time delivery of engineering projects and orders in a high volume and fast paced environment.
    • Providing technical direction related to engineering projects and service orders; from quote to design to implementation and finally billing.
    • Ability to interpret Engineering Design Prints and Facility Records.
    • Aiding in material management through strong partnerships with Supply Chain.
    • Tracking and driving vendor quality and performance.
    • Defining and maintaining Build Types ensuring projects are sized correctly and target completion dates are attainable
    • Analyzing data to identify root causes and makes recommendations for performance improvement.
    • Developing the project delivery schedule which includes identification and logical sequencing of activities needed to complete deliverables and to identify critical paths. Identifying risks and mitigation plans.
    • Communicating project plans, project status and issues to stakeholders
    • Utilizing various project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheets, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Qualifications

    WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

    • 3+ years Telecommunications experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience
    • Experience with Telcom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld)
    • Ability to work in network facility & inventory systems
    • Project Management experience
    • Highly organized and data driven
    • Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently
    • Root cause analysis and process mapping experience
    • Skilled with Teams, MS SharePoint, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel

    BONUS POINTS FOR:

    • Project Management certification
    • 7+ years Telecommunications experience
    • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience or certification
    • Application specific experience
      • IQGeo, GIS, NDS, Fireworks, Bidmaster, WFMT, FT3, CDMMS, ARMOR, E2, Sitetracker, Salesforce, MARTENS, Optius/Oden, Service Now
