    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Manager, Learning & Development, (L&D) to help our employees grow and advance their professional knowledge and skills. As Manager, Learning & Development, with specialist experience in Professional training and Leadership Programs you will report directly to the Director, Talent Management. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. In addition, you will play a critical, senior role in the day-to-day learning and development (L&D) strategy, design, and execution of all Professional and Leadership Learning and Development program curriculum and associated talent management learning functions across the organization.

    You will coordinate all L&D and Leadership functions, partner with business leaders, functional managers, and employees. Responsibilities include the design and development of learning strategy, curriculums, developing critical training needs analysis, defining learning business case and budgets. Other functions related to the role include managing and overseeing third-party training providers, consultants, RFPs and the Brightspeed Learning management system (LMS). You should be a friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills willing to interact and engage at all levels across the organization. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

    AS MANAGER, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT, YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Develop and implement learning and development strategies, professional and leadership programs that are aligned with the business, strategic and functional objectives
    • Evaluate individual and organizational learning and development needs
    • Research, design and implement courses, career plans, learning workshops and programs
    • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, mentorships job-shadowing, e-learning courses, workshops, Orientation, and other trainings)
    • Help managers develop their team members through learning and development
    • Maintain learning budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants
    • Demonstrate a full understanding of the various business units and their specific learning and development requirements
    • Conduct organization-wide Training needs analysis
    • Provide learning and development and leadership budget recommendations
    • Design, source, and build various types of learning programs
    • Track overall spend, negotiate contracts, build, and maintain relationships with third-party training providers, inclusive of RFP and other consultancy agreements
    • Research, design and produce training materials, incorporating all learning platforms
    • Management of the company wide Skillsoft contract and reporting
    • Complete learning management campaigns linked to business strategy and organization themes
    • Assess all learning and development programs for continuous improvement
    •  Act as the principal point of contact for all employees with questions about learning and development and professional training
    • Collaborate effectively with other relevant stakeholders
    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HRM, education, business, or related field
    • 7+ years relevant experience in Human Resources Management, L&D involved in the design and development of Professional Learning and Leadership Programs
    • Strong ability to own and drive learning strategies
    • Overseen learning program management at the Frontline, mid-level, and senior level of and organization, successfully run leadership programs
    • Demonstrate affinity with employee learning and learning methodologies and technologies
    • Able to design and produce relevant training materials including e-learning courses
    • Familiarity with e-learning platforms
    • Able to solve problems quickly and resolve issues
    • Ability to communicate effectively and engage with employees
    • Possess analytical ability
    • Computer literacy in LMS and all related programs
    • Ability to effectively present information to all stakeholders

    BONUS POINTS FOR:

    • Telecommunications industry experience
    • Master’s degree in HRM, psychology, L&D education, business, or related field
    • 8+ years relevant experience in Human Resources
